Buxton Heiress Double Cardex

I had a wallet that I loved that was falling apart, and I searched for months and months for the right wallet to replace it. Part of the trouble was that I kept finding wallets that were either checkbook holders, which I didn't want, or didn't have the clasping change purse part. Also, most wallets I found were just a touch short of the length of a dollar bill (which was a problem with my former wallet, but I ignored it because I loved its other features) which meant that bills were squashed and folded.Then I searched here and found this wallet. It satisfied all my needs: it's long enough to hold bills without squashing them, it has a clasping change purse (with two pockets!), and it has sufficient slots to hold all my cards, IDs, and frequent shopper punch cards. I thought it might get too thick, but it hasn't -- and even if it had, the wallet has two clasps so you can adjust how tight you want the fold to be.I love this wallet. I know, what a boring life I must have if I love a wallet -- but I am so glad I found this. Even my daughter, who refuses to like the things that I like (as a typical teenaged girl would), has admitted she likes my wallet. I pray that Buxton never stops making this style, so that when this wallet wears out, I can order it again. Come to think of it, maybe I'll do that pre-emptively.

With all of the 15 cardholders full the wallet is about 1 1/2"-2" deep but does not "feel" bulky and snap isn't strained when closed. There are two places for bills and a few extra compartments behind the cardholders. The change purse is divided and it's easy to get change out. The leather feels soft and is excellent quality. This wallet is the best wallet I have ever had. In this day and age, every store no matter what type, has its own card, let alone the credit cards I personally have. This wallet is the only wallet that I have found that has enough card slots to hold them all. It also has hidden compartments and a double change purse which is wonderful to separate out the pennies from the other coins. The quality is just top notch. I'm on my second one in 16 years. Now that's a bargain !!

My mom asked for a Buxton wallet for her birthday to replace the one she currently had. The problem was she wanted the same wallet. It took me a while to find the right one, but I was excited when I did. Not only I get it for a great price, it got here a week faster than expected! My mom loves it and thinks it is the best gift she has gotten. Her last Buxton lasted almost 20 years. So I guess I won't be replacing this anytime soon.
