Doesn't work well with CarPlay
I bought this hoping that it would make it easy for me to work with CarPlay as its much easier to snap a magnetic connector than to physically insert the lightning cable on my iPhone. While CarPlay technically works, the bandwidth isn't enough for a fluid operation and touching an icon on the screen takes 3-4 seconds to register and get a response from the iPhone.I don't think the manufacture is to blame- the cable works with data and charging. But if you're looking to buy it for use with CarPlay, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Good quality
Its very good product. Good quality. The only problem is the shipment fee which made it a bit expensive so im giving it 4 stars.

My 2nd pair.
Great quality and fully recommend Digital Ant products. Never had an issue with the connection as I heard other folks struggle with interim disconnections when moved slightly sideways etc. Magnet strong enough to hold your phone upside down yet easy enough to unplug just make sure to unplug by pulling from side to side as opposed to in n out.

Highly recommend.
Will be buying another set. Magnet is pretty strong and been using them for a week and no issues whatsoever. Whether charging or transferring data, works like a charm.

Very cool and useful cable but with one flaw...
I found this cable very useful and cool however, my galaxy s9 uses usb type c and does my laptop so needless to say that this is the one the I personally use the most and I have found that with the type c end (non-issue with lightning and micro usb) the type c part comes off when you remove the cable from the device and I have great difficulty with removing it from the port. Otherwise it works exactly as advertised and even with this issue in mind, I would probably still buy one.

One of the worst purchases I have ever made
TL;DR: I spent over $80 on this cables (2x sets of three), and I now _seriously_ regret it.1) within ~year of usage, the contacts become extremely unreliable. For example, in the car, it's a hit and miss whether it connects to apple play/android auto, and in the longer term it was a hit and miss whether they'd charge at all. Yes, I tried to clean the contact with appropriate de-oxidizing solution – to no avail. And this is not just a problem in the car, at home it's exactly the same (it goes without saying that the devices charge perfectly when a normal cable is used, and that this is not the charger's fault).2) I did not listen to the reviews mentioning that the magnetic power was too weak for this to be usable... and I now regret it. In the car, this resulted in the device being unplugged at every speed bump, or gross movement of my passenger. At home, this is less of an issue, but basically it means you cannot use the device while it's charging.3) on some devices, the USBC will poke out of the device in an un-sightly fashion. e.g. I had the jeans phone cover for the Pixel3, and the magnetic attachment jetting out of the phone was just not elegant. It looks ok for other phone cases that surround the port with plasticNote that (3) is a minor point, but (1,2) are sufficient for me throwing it all in the garbage. What a waste of money.

Significant design flaw
The design flaw is that small parts of the connectors actually plug into each other. Because of this, any small particles build up into the small slots which stops the connectors from fully seating. Most often the device end connector eventually becomes damaged on the inside leaving small magnetic particles making the problem worse.Replacement device plugs are not affordable at $10 for a two pack.Unlike circular magnetic cables, these need to be aligned more precisely before a solid connection happens. With most circular cables you just need to get the cable close and it aligns and connects itself. My search for the best magnetic cables continues.

So handy... Saves wear and tear on charging port.
So handy... Saves wear and tear on charging port. Comes with multiple tips so I can easily use the same cord for charging different items with different ports. IE My headphones are micro USB but my cell phone is USB-C. I just need one cord, since I don't charge both at the same time.
