The New One Minute Manager by Johnson and Spencer Blanchard - Paperback

I purchased this for my holiday read and it was such a great book. I work in management and I want to develop my leadership skills. It's all about thinking about how your actions and the way you come across would affect the person. Everyone is different so you should have a different approach to different people - EVERYONE in your team is important.I'm not one to read a book but as it was a small book I read it in one sitting. It was great to see the different styles of management and puts everything into perspective. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing more of the one minute manager collection.

This book is written in a friendly manner. Like two people having a conversation, but still with some theory. It's not even a long book so it goes quickly to the point. Took me 1h to finish it and feel like I have something to refer to in the future!!

A very good read for anyone wanting to get onto the leadership ladder or even understand the different styles of leadership and what works for them.

Helpfully set out in a story telling format. I found the book helpful to make sense of different management styles and their effectiveness on different personality types. If you're new to management, I recommend this book.
