Great book
I bought this for my granddaughter for her 12th birthday and she likes the book but I must say I was a little disappointed that there weren't any instructions on different kinds of bracelets that you could make. This was more focused on other things you could do with the looms. So I might not of read the details of this book as closely but I thought there would be more options for the different style of bracelets you could make. It is good for beginners though because it goes into detail on the basics of the loom, the different kind of tools, and things like that. So I would say this would be beneficial for someone that isn't very familiar with looms. My granddaughter has already been doing this for a little bit so most parts of the beginning of the book was of no use to her. Still, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves looms and wants to know how to make other things besides bracelets.

Great idea book!
My daughter has gotten into loom bands this summer, so I bought this book. There are some great design ideas and we've had fun with it, but this is made for older kids. They have to follow the directions and so kids should be able to read fairly well (upper elementary would be the youngest I would recommend it to).

Better for older children or adults
For my 6 1/2 year old granddaughter, this book is too difficult - both to read and for the projects it explains. It would be better for a teen or an adult who was really into rubber band creating. I am giving it 3 stars because it did not suit my purposes, but for an older crafter, this would probably be a 5 star book. It is very detailed with lots of photos and diagrams. It tells how to use two looms (as well as a single loom) and how to create some very complicated projects. It was just too detailed and too much information for a 6 year old. Tiny print and some small instructional illustrations. Again, OK for an older child or adult, but not for a younger child.

Great Resource, sometime Confusing Instructions
This is a really great resource for new rainbow loom designs. It's very detailed with a lot of great pictures; however, some designs are just not explained well. It's been difficult for my 8 year old to follow what the instructions were trying to convey without a detailed picture showing each step. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it over time, and I'm practicing as well so I can help her when she gets stuck. Overall, we really enjoy the book.

Very nice projects
A very good book with many projects. My 7 and 5 years old boys enjoyed it. The projects are different and meet different tastes. The only issue we had is that it has more instructions than pictures, so sometimes the kids ask for help completing the project. I wish it includes a picture for each step. Looking at the picture helps to figure out the next step faster. Might work just fine with older kids. I recommend this book.
