I purchase this product each fall for cold season. These do not upset stomach from harsh acids like other vitamin C products do. Thank you for this easy to swallow capsule, coating on it makes the swallow easy.

I take one gram of vitamin C daily, and I find this brand to be reasonably priced. I seldom have a cold, and probably that daily dose is one of the reasons. When I DO catch cold, I take one pill with 8 ounces of water every 3 hours or so while I am awake, and it makes me feel better in 6 to 12 hours. I believe that it shortens the time that I am ill, too. I have never suffered any bad effects from doing this.For background, I am a senior and I live in the northeastern part of the USA.

Nature's Way produces a quality vitamin C from plant sources. Note that irrespective of what the FDA says to the contrary, ascorbic acid is NOT vitamin C. It is but a component of vitamin C. You should be getting your vitamin C from sources such as ascerola cherries. In-vitro studies and clinical trials have suggested that vitamin C as provided by companies like Nature's Way (that is a complete vitamin C and not just ascorbic acid) is at least 10 times more effective than isolated ascorbic acid.In addition, ascorbic acid has been shown to encourage growth of some lines of cancer cells where complete forms of vitamin C have been shown to aid in the destruction of such cells (or have no effect for some lines).

I am very satisfied with these vitamins

If I had to name a handful of vitamins that were essential and responsible for my health streak (maybe one cold in the last 5-6 years) This product would make the list, no doubts about it. It upsets me when I hear people say that vitamin C has no/minimal benefits when I’ve been taking it for so many years, experienced so many stressful life events that could’ve triggered an immune system hiccup, and nonetheless kept going on physically healthy as ever. The bioflavonoids help make the vitamin more effective and for the price- you really can’t beat it. 250 capsules for 20 bucks? Sign me up. Do your research, of course, but in my experience, I can’t say one negative thing about vitamin c.
