The outfit is very well made. However, the top seems a bit tight on the American Girl Doll and the sandals do not stay on the doll when playing. The strap around the back is too long. It needs to be shorter or redesigned to be an ankle strap.

The outfit is absolutely adorable! My daughter got 7-8 different sets of clothes for her dolls this year for her birthday and this is her favorite by far. She loved the head band and the shimmery skirt. However she was so sad that the shoes fall off literally every time she moves her doll. Shoes coming with the outfit seems to be a rarity so I was excited these were included however they will under no circumstance stay on the dolls feet. Even sitting down propped up the shoes fell off, the back strap is simply too large and loose. However, I still love the outfit it's adorable and the one my daughter was most excited about!*Updating to include after the "newness" of the outfit wore off my daughter became more and more frustrated about the shoes not fitting. Really wish there was a way other than rubber bands that I could attach these to her dolls feet*

What a pretty party outfit! It is just right for a birthday party or other special occasion. And, it is charmingly age appropriate for girl dolls. (Not too grown-up....) The lace top with the ribbon strapped shell underneath is quite dressy, and since the straps are attached to the lace, the top is easy to put on and take off. The skirt is of a shiny, crushed metallic material that is very festive. The shoes are made with gold thread, rather than glitter, so they won't shed and will keep looking great, right down to the bows. And, as a final touch, the gold headband has a rhinestone in the center of the flower.

The skirt ripped from the waist after only having it for less than a week. And the 6 year old playing with couldn’t have been any more gentle. Disappointed that it was that fragile for the price!

This outfit is absolutely perfect! Sophia's always have the best quality doll clothes that I've ever seen. I would've given this outfit 5 stars but the only negative thing is the adorable shoes won't stay on. As soon as my daughter picks the doll up, the shoes fall off. It gets very frustrating for her.
