does this work without software?

Hi there! The GSX 300 does work without software (it will process the sound coming through it), however all the functionalities and benefits can be adjusted inside the software, so it wouldn't make sense not to download it. Please note, that the software and GSX 300 are only compatible with PC, so if you wish to buy the GSX 300 for a Mac/PS (where the software doesn't work), this is not possible, unfortunately. Will this fix the static sound my mic produces? i have the epos 602.

This unit has mic volume issues as well. Wouldn't recommend it for microphone troubles. I've been dealing with their support unsuccessfully for software and mic issues.

Will this work with the sennheiser pc 373d - 7.1 surround sound gaming headset?. the headset is 50 impedance. what benefit would i get with this unit?

3D surround is excellent, I didn’t used product like this previously but sound of my GSP 500 EPOS headphone is greatly improved when 3D surround is on and for music its better that creative sound core 3d chipset on motherboard

Nachdem ich mir für meinen Laptop, Epos Kopfhörer gegönnt hatte, konnte dieser keinen Stereo-Klang erzeugen. Blöd wenn man nicht nachschaut ob der eigene Rechner das kann oder nicht. Mit der Externen habe ich jetzt wunderbaren Klang und möchte das Teil nicht mehr missen. Praktisch (für Mich) ist das wirklich lange Anschlusskabel, da am Kopfhörer selbst eher ein Kurzes verbaut ist. Jetzt kann ich auf meine Sessel rumlungern und Musik hören, anstatt auf dem Bürostuhl sitzen zu müssen.

La verdad mi laptop tiene un sonido muy malo en la salida de audífonos, este dac solucionó el problema, aunque es para gaming yo lo utilizo para escuchar musica y videos y si mejora por mucho la calidad del audio, es muy fácil de usar y además su diseño es moderno.
