Yes. You can initialize the countdown timer to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. Great for long flights to answer the question, "How much longer do we hafta sit in these cramped seats?"

Does this have world time ?

No this watch does not have the World Time feature. It only displays one time zone. The split displays are due to the day of the week and date being on the top display and the time or other watch functions being displayed on the bottom display.

How long battery lasts with normal use?

Purchased mine in 2013, still on the first battery, still going strong.
