2 year update: battery wont hold charge, replacement battery is hundreds of dollars and not worth it. Only lasted 2 years. I would not recommend this model due to battery issues. I previously had the older model air ram and i loved it. It was a work horse. I specifically like air rams because the weight of the machine is at floor level. Very easy to maneuver. Most of the cordless stick vacs are so top heavy which is tiresome and awkward to use not to mention they wont stand up on their own. The new model (white one) air ram design is fabulous. Lower clearance for getting under furniture , corner spinning brushes (like a roomba) to get the little crevices the main roller brush cant reach, and a really cool compression feature. Every time you finish vacuuming it makes a loud noise (normal) which is the machine compressing the dirt bin. Small dust bin but holds a ton because it works like a trash compactor. Its also considerably less $$ than the dyson stick vacs. If you want a reliable, lightweight stick vac that is not top heavy this is a stellar choice. It does not have attachments but i dont mind that. I just use my big corded vacuum with all the attachments when i need them

Bought for my Mum. She loves it as she’s 78 with health issues and it’s very lightweight and she can easily manage it . She had an earlier version of this . This new model seems to pick up much better than the first version . It’s not for me as I like my Dyson , but it’s perfect for Mum to run around the house and place back on charge base . The older one had to have the battery removed to recharge , but this one just sits on the base without having to remove the battery . She likes it and is definitely a great option for older people

This vacuum is definitely something to hype about. I have gone through, WAY too many vacuums. WAY too many. It’s made me feel like a vacuum critic. We’ve had two sharks, two Dyson’s, a WYZE, some other cheaper vacuums, and some thing my wife got off a TicTock special……. They all do fine, but one of the problems that no battery vacuum manufacturer has seemed to figure out yet is gravity. When the motor head is at the top and the vacuum shuts off, debris inevitably falls down the stick to the floor. Seems like a mundane issue, but seriously, why was this so hard to figure out? These guys have figured it out. The entire motor, electronics, filter and catch tray are all in the head. It’s all tight, super easy to use and maneuver, and has incredible “suction”. I mean, it has suction, but just think of the engineering here, it only has to propel the debris an inch into a catch tray, so “suction” is really just to keep and trap the dust in the hopper, which it does so well! So it’s so much more efficient than every other sweeper I’ve used. Charges faster, battery lasts longer, we’re able to go through the house quicker, and the little spinning brushes clean under the cabinets so well. They “throw” the debris in the path of the vacuum, so it catches you off guard at first, but it works well. Did I mention the battery is actually easily changeable too? Honestly…. It looks VERY similar to a Dewalt 20v battery. Almost exact. I’ve been meaning to hook up a multimeter to verify all the voltages are the same before I try one, but I haven’t yet. Please don’t try it and fry the vacuum if you don’t know what you’re doing. The whole vacuum feels VERY sturdy. I have twin 4 year olds and other children and everyone uses it because the adjustable handle can go low enough for a child to easily use it. They all love it, and it still looks brand new! That’s almost a miracle in itself! It makes this loud sound sometimes, but don’t be alarmed, lol, it’s just its “cleaning” cycle. We had to look it up in the manual. Seriously, these people thought of everything. I’m hooked, and we love it. If you’re in the market for a $300 or more sweeper, this is the one. I like it way better than the Dyson battery vacuum I paid A LOT more for.

First off, we've had Dyson, Shark etc. All have their merits but in my eyes difficult to clean, long hair wrapped around the roller (3 ladies) has made them frustrating to use. Gtech air ram, wow, so easy to use 1 good battery life and easy to charge on its stand 2 so easy to empty 3 roller actually slides out of the machine with one easy click 4 very easy to manoeuvre around the house 5 lights on front for cleaning and letting you know when it's charging Slight negatives 1 strictly a floor cleaner, no tools or hoses 2 no good for stairs or curtains (probably why they sell the handheld model) Top class for a floor cleaner

I purchased this vacuum based on feedback of its strong reviews, and it works perfectly. Before getting into the review, the old saying applies - ‘You get what you pay for’. I made the mistake of first buying a Dyson knockoff, and immediately returned it for a full refund- thank you Amazon! Friends, that unit was like a toy, and let me say, you can’t get any kind of vacuum for $160! I was only fooling myself. As soon as I unboxed the G-Tech unit, I saw straightaway that it is very substantial. It took less than five minutes to assemble. It works terrifically on luxury vinyl plank and hardwood flooring, as well as pile cut area rugs. It doesn’t work well with sculpted area rugs - but that was clearly stated in the product description (a job better done with a traditional vacuum cleaner). The suction is exceptional and the run time is about an hour! The lint reservoir is substantial and emptying is as easy as 1-2-3! The charging speed is about 30-40 minutes, and like all lithium batteries, you need to fully deplete the battery in order to enjoy maximum battery lifespan. Overall, this is terrific value for the money, and I would recommend it to anyone!!
