Beautiful...but not DURABLE
I received this case about 7 months ago. It is, in my opinion, a high-priced, nicer looking knock off on the Otterbox design. I purchased it because although I prefer an Otter, the designs offered for my iPhone X are limited in the Symmetry line and I wanted a slim case with maximum protection that looks good. It was wonderful for the first few months, then the 'rainbow' effect that others have mentioned started happening on the screen, and moisture began to creep in between the screen and the plastic screen protector - NOT GOOD. In addition, the hard outer piece that snaps into the rubber cover began to lift for no apparent reason, and although all the tabs are in good shape, for some reason they don't hook into the rubber cover any more. I notice that between these two defects that my phone has begun to freeze regularly, and I suspect it is because it is no longer properly protected.Overall, a very nice case to look at, but don't count on it lasting very long. It's my opinion that $20 is a lot of dough to lay out for a case that needs replacing in less than a year. It was my mistake because now I just have to replace it with the Otter, which in comparison protected my previous iPhone 6 for over 3 years without incident. Lesson learned.

Very good looking case.
UPDATE: I can hardly believe it but I already had my first accidental drop. The case did what it was supposed to and the phone was fine.I do want to point out one flaw that was mentioned in other reviews. The front cover has a screen protector built in but it is some type of plastic. Since it is not flush with the phone, air can get in and cause a rainbow effect. To clean it, you have to remove the front cover. It is just too time consuming. The plastic also holds every single fingerprint. I think I will use an exacto knife to cut out the plastic and add a glass screen protector. I took away one star due to this issue.I just received this and I wanted to leave a review of my first impressions. The case was a bit difficult to get on the phone. There were no instructions but it's not rocket science. It tells you where to start to remove the front but I was trying to be very careful not to damage the case. It has a front screen protector built into the silicone front. I never once touched the screen of the phone. I put it in the case immediately. No chance of scratches.Once I separated the front from the case, things went better. The phone was in the case and you have to line up the silicone front carefully. I did not get it exactly right because the one corner of the back hard plastic popped out. I had to manipulate the phone until I could pop the back in place. This sounds like a lot but it only took about 15 minutes. Once the front and back are lined up, that phone is locked in place. I am not going to do a drop test on an $1,149 phone. If I do drop it accidentally, I will update my review. If you like purple, you will like this case. The entire case is purple. The band around the phone edges is also purple, but a very dark purple that looks great with the color of the back and front.Time will tell, but it appears to be well made. You can use a wireless charger with the case on.Right now, I love it.

Exactly what I wanted. Don’t expect bells and whistles!
Works as expected for a $20 case. The screen protector has taken damage and shows it... so I’m glad it was on there, but eventually when better cases with better screen protectors come out I plan to switch. The case itself feels great in your hands and doesn’t add much extra size or weight. The buttons still feel responsive, and the screen still responds fine with the screen protector in all.All in all - it was a great case for the price. But it’s temporary as I believe a $1k phone deserves more than a $20 case. (And there weren’t any good ones at the time of release.)

Good protection, and looks nice!
I used the stick on screen savers and a separate flexible case before, but the stick in screen kept breaking and I could be er tell if it was the actual phone screen or just the cover.Took a chance absent with this “complete enclosure” case and am very happy with it so far. Dropped it on a curbside corner - no scratches! Only slight negative is that it’s a little bit of an effort to get the charging cable in or to switch the phone to silent, but that well worth it to me...

Nice case, poor screen protector!
I brought this case, since I thought it look nice. For $20, they could of used a better piece of plastic for the built in screen protector, since it gets scratched and dirty real easily and it’s also giving me that rainbow effect as some other reviewers mentioned.Other than the cheap piece of plastic screen protector, it’s a nice case!
