iPhone 8 Case, Clayco [Hera Series] Full-Body Rugged Case with Built-in Screen Protector Compatible with Apple iPhone 7 2016 / iPhone 8 2017 (Gold)

After opening the package, I initially thought that the fairly large, relatively clunky looking case detracted from the appearance of my new, sleek iPhone. I then reminded myself that my sleek new phone was too fragile to survive my klutziness for very long, and this case was absolutely perfect to protect my large investment. This case reminds me of a heavier, much more expensive brand that I owned a few years ago with respect to its ability to protect the phone, but this one is not nearly as bulky or heavy and the color choices available for this case are also a plus. The included touch screen protector is amazingly responsive unlike those included with other sturdy cases I have used, and the various ports fit the phone perfectly. It is easy to hold in the hand. The phone slipped into the case easily but firmly. I can't ask for more.

I bought this case for my 10 year old sons iPhone 8. Easy installation and so far so good ! 😀 I would definitely buy this case again. I did put a tempered glass screen protector on iPhone then installed the case around it and it still fit. The fit was not perfect, but it would have been if I didn’t fatten up the phone the screen protector. The first weekend after Xmas it went to his moms house it came back to dads after the weekend with a cracked screen protector ! Thank God I put the tempered glass screen protector under the clear plastic piece that is part of the clay court case. Mama thought she was successful at cracking the iPhone screen. I very rarely write product reviews but I had to on this because it saved my phone’s life. I had a crazy morning and didn’t even remember but I had put my phone in my back pocket. I went to go use the bathroom and you can guess what happened. Phone fell in the toilet. I freaked out because I had just switched it out of an otter box case into this one. (I was just sick of otter box of how bulky are and dirty they get.) Phone was in the toilet for a solid 3-5 seconds. Absolutely no damage. Camera, charging port, speaker, everything good. Thank you Clayco for saving my phone’s life. I’m sorry to let this one go but I’m not putting toilet water next to my face anymore but I will be purchasing a new one to replace this one. 😂 Only drawback on this case is that it’s a little hard to reach the switch for vibrate/ring on the phone because it’s so well protected by the case. Worth it though if it can survive a dip in the toilet.

Love this case, fits well, protects my phone, and I've had it for about a month now and I've dropped my phone many times and nothing is wrong with it still. Great price for even better protection for your phone. Highly recommended. The only reason this lost a star is because the front screen protector can do some weird things like almost feel like it moves around, and the back casing, on the top left corner, doesn't really clip in to place it's just kind of there which is kind of dumb in my opinion, but otherwise its a great phone case.

Encloses the phone, but the screen protector isn't flush to the screen. This causes an irritating patting sound when you type, traps lots of dust and particles VERY quickly (mostly around the home button) between the protector and the screen, and occasionally negatively impacts the touch screen capabilities of the phone. Case is very slippery. Wish I'd returned it, because I've given up after about a month and now need to buy a new case.
