Does it matter if my cartridge is 220 and I want to try 320

That I'm not certain of. I have the PictureMate printer and it states to only use the 320.

how many photo sheets can 1 ink cartridge print out ?

The website states around 100 (4x6 images). However, I bought this for a photo project for my grandmother's 75th birthday and pushed closer to 160+ per cartridge. I was also printing 5x7s. I purchased a total of four cartridges and end up using the freebie that came with the printer and just one of my own. It's a pretty solid cartridge for pictures on the go!

What is the difference between the T320 and the T320P cartridge?

I think it’s T320P is with photo paper & T320 is without photo paper.
