Jaico Publishing House Kautilya's Arthashastra

I was made to believe that it is translation of Kautilya's Arthashatra. It turns out to be a set pf 'erudite' articles on it. I would like to make my opinion about Kautilya's Arthashatra after reading the original test. Grossly disappointed. Wish it could be exchanged fora goos translation of the original text.

This book has nothing to do with Kautilya original Arthashastra, is just a number of selected quotes picked for marketing purposes. The result was that I had to buy again the real Arthashastra.

I was disappointed by this edition. Even though the Table of Contents contains fifteen Books, the last two are missing. The Kindle edition of this book is translated and arranged much better.I would not have bought it again, if I have seen it beforehand.

Very poorly written book. Limited mention of what was written in the original text. All general interpretation at a global level is shared. A person who would want to get into Chanakya's head will find this book completely useless.

Waste of money. I don't want to know about ardhasathra, I want to know what is in it. This is not ardhashasthra. This is a book about ardhasasthra.
