The chair has very sturdy foam pillows. It was shipped super quickly. Like other reviewers said, it would have been helpful if it could be adjusted upright and not lean backwards. A major disappointment was the condition the chair frame arrived. The plastic bag came torn, with the legs exposed and rust lining the outside of the tubes. Because I could not exchange it, but get a refund and risk getting the same one shipped upon reordering, I decided to clean out the rust with vinegar and coconut oil inside the tubes. So much more rust came out. I feel for the price, the condition it arrived in was poor.

A lovely chair. I was surprised how well I fit in it. I'm 6'3" with minor back issues from a car accident years back. Sitting on a meditation cushion has been painful and recently simply unworkable. Sitting up in a chair wasn't great either, even w/ back support. This, so far, and it has only been a few weeks, is great. I meditate for an hour or more in a sitting 2-3x daily and this chair has been a lifesaver. The cushions are 100% adjustable, as is the level of recline. The butt pillow has my legs fold in a very natural, VERY comfortable position. As my left knee is shot and I can't do even 1/2 lotus anymore, this is very comfortable and relaxing. I'm not into material spirituality, but I figured I would be sitting in this seat for hours up hours every week, every month, every year, and it is portable. I wanted something that would be comfortable. It takes 30 sections to set up and break down and only another minute to pack it up. The material seems to be of decent, albeit thin stock. Thought it doesn't feel cheap, nor likely to tear. Whomever designed this did an amazing job and clearly knew human anatomy. My spine is straight and I can sit for an hour without pain. Previously impossible even in a full size rolling chair with cushions/back support. Thank you. Completely worth every penny. While this was a pricey buy, I'm glad I did it.

The product arrived on time, the service was very fast and the product is as described. I am very satisfied, my sister loves her present. It is a very beautiful meditation chair, I use mine a lot.

I used this chair during my 10-day Vipassana course. I have hip, and upper and lower back pain when sitting for long periods of time and knew I would need an ergonomic chair to minimize the skeletal stress of being still for very long periods of time. While it didn't eliminate all discomfort, it did a really great job of keeping my spine in alignment. I don't think I would have made it the whole 10 days without this chair. The cushions are unusually firm and did not seem to deflate in volume; which is why this chair is so supportive. A typical meditation cushion will lose volume and stop providing support after a very short period of time - resulting in stress on the joints. It comes with removable/washable white covers to keep the cushions clean and a sturdy carrying case. The chair is very simple to set up and lightweight. I was impressed that it held up so well. The back was wide and tall enough to properly support my shoulders and back while leaving the head and neck free (which is important so one stays alert). It was very expensive, but given the quality of the chair and the relief it gave me - the cost is totally worth it. The chair, itself, is attractive and very intuitive to use; I didn't need to look at the instructions to set it up on my own.

Really did not want two spend this amount off money on meditation chair.. but I have just put it together and sat onit..feels amazing comfortable.the best I have sat in. In all honesty.. looking forward two using this.
