The jacket fits a little looser than expected, i am a size 44/46 and got an XL, but it was just a little loose, if that could helpI have used it for almost a year now, and notice a change of on the colour of the 'stretch textile' material under the sleeve.The jacket is also thick, with a good quality material, so in heavy duty kitchen that wont be a problem.

I really love this chefs coat, its nice and cool to wear and is really flattering also as it has some shape to it.The quality is spot on and details are lovely. Bought two, the grey and the blue one. Im a uk size12/14 and the age fits nicely with a little room to spare.
