Favorite Egg Cute Design Hamster Habitat Cage Travel Portable Small Animal Carrier

This is a great way to transport your beloved little furry friend!The kids love this little set up with its hut, its ramp and its cute little shape! But, this is not a living quarters, just a little travel cage or a spot to keep your buddy safe while his cage is being cleaned. With that in mind, I do recommend this for a gerbil or a hamster. 🐭Putting this together is simple, just by looking at the pic you can figure it out, and that is great since the printed instructions were so washed out it was almost unusable!Cute and functional! And, a hit with the kids who all wanted to hold it (gently!) I purchased this with a discount to test it and review after use. It's great for a compact travel cage. We didn't use the handle on the top while the little guy was in there, and held it with two hands or on the lap only, not that you can't, but we didn't even try. Precious cargo!! 💖

Some people go crazy crazy re: small animal cage sizing, but LISTEN to them on this one; this thing is the size of a football, and IS NOT suitable as a full-time cage for ANY animal (not even a dwarf hamster or mouse).That said, it is a great little travel or temporary cage (which is it's advertised purpose). I use it when cleaning my dwarf hamster's main home. I keep the entire bottom portion filled with bedding, and he especially likes laying in the little outside divot on the second floor.Three stars because the lid is fussy, and the water bottle wouldn't stop leaking no matter what so I just threw it out and use the cage without it.

I am an animal lover, some say animals know that and are attracted to me. I've seriously have had lost animals run up to me or my car and I have obliged and given them a lift home. This is also true of small mammals and creatures that find their way into my yard or home so there I rescue them from my 2 large hunting dogs and re-home them someplace more peaceful! My previous lift for small animals was a small metal cage my husband picked up but it's so impersonal. I was given the opportunity to try this out and it is much more suitable of a temporary habitat!The unit itself is small, perfect for mice or small rodents. There are 2 levels joined by a slide. You insert the animal either from lifting up a side or taking the cover off the center unit. There's a cute little water bottle attached to the side and food bowl on the lower level. It's a good temporary space for a little creature. I added some straw to the bottom to soften the plastic look but it beats the cold metal!

My hamster is kinda pudgy and can still fit through the hole and use the raml. It's perfect for travel and weekends away

I really wanted to love this little hamster cage. BUT my 2 1/2 year old can very easily pop the top off of it without even trying. For some reason when the middle platform is inside of it then the lid doesn't click on all of the way and then comes off very easily. Without the platform inside of it it is a lot more secure. (I did not give him the cage with a hamster inside of it).I would worry that if it could come off so easily that the hamster would very easily be able to escape and then I would have a loose hamster somewhere in my house!I received this item for free for my honest and unbiased review.

So far does its job and it seems quiet enough in order to keep in the same room. I thoght that the hamster would be able to bite the plastic on top but so far it never was able to. It can't fit its nose outside i seen it a couple of times trying but so far it kept him contained im loving this cage. It keeps hime quiet but the downside no wheel. I tried buying him a silent flying saucer his size but it wouldnt fit.:( So i just got him a hamster ball for running around in. I put a hula hoop down and put the ball in the middle so he wouldnt try to leave its working so far. The cage is small but in the bright side less bedding being used which saves money and the food well i give him a tablespoon a day works well. But the water bottle was slighty different i expected a ball in the tube but it wasnt i asked around seems they know how to drink from it just put honey but ill update just for buyers if your looking no problems so far and its perfect if you want a silent cage so he wont bite wires or openings i guess it also depends on the hamster just give him a toy to chew it will keep him busy or hamster ball. :) But be warned its small might not be "legal" by the humane society. Around the 1 or 2 inches smaller than a ruler.Update: hamster chewed through plastic in a matter of minutes while cleaning the cage

This is a great habatat for small mice or gerbils or maybe even dwarf hampsters. It isgood quality all the parts were included. My daughter loves this as she can cary it around easily and her mice fit in it and seem to be very happy.
