How to Be a Fashion Designer

This was a great find for the classroom library! I have students that are interested in exploring fashion & this is one of the few text options I could find (that wasn’t a magazine subscription) that was kid-friendly.I would recommend purchase of this book!

We’ve had this book for a few years now, and my kid (now 8) returns to it again and again for inspiration.

This is an absolute delight, a fantastic book for a kid to start learning about fashion. Highly recommended

Bought this for my 8 year old who weaves and is constantly making bags and other things from items around the house. She loves this book and so do I. It is filled with ideas on how to look for design inspiration, and how to put them together. I also love that the silhouettes are shaped like real girls and not Barbie dolls with ridiculous proportions. There is body positive imagery and wording. Definitely recommend and really wish there were more such books.
