Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (New, Brown Box Packaging)

I have this set for myself at home, and I have used it for years--off and on, I have to admit. The exercises in Wii Fit Plus range from easy balance games to difficult cardiovascular, strength training and yoga poses. The balance board is used to track your movements and progress. My grandson received a Wii from his uncle and aunt for Christmas, but they had games and activities that were focused more toward their adult interests. My grandson has often used the Wii at my house - golf is his favorite thing in Wii Fit. When I found out what he was getting for Christmas, I decided he needed to have this set in order to take advantage of some of the features of the games he was getting--including snowboarding. I am disappointed that many of the original Wii functions like Weather, News, and the Polls have all gone away over time. But the Wii is still a great game console, and I an glad I could still find this Wii Fit combo--my grandson was very excited, and it was the first thing he played with after opening his presents.

The balance programs help me with my neuromuscular disorder while getting aerobic exercise.

This board was sent in the smallest box possible with no room for cushion. Fortunately, the board survived and works well! I like to use it with my Dance Dance Revolution as an alternative to the dance pad. If you love the DDR games but need a gentler, low impact alternative. Instead of stomping your feet, you get to swing your hips while standing still. The Wii Fit Plus is alright but I really like to use the board with my DDR game. The Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 is the only DDR game compatible with the Balance Board.

This IS NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. The photo originally had this entire package including the Wii, remotes, Wii fit, Wii balance board, Wii sports package and Super Mario Bros. I had my husband look at all 8 pictures closely because I wanted to make sure I was buying what was advertised. I placed my order and the picture that showed up in my email was NOTHING like what was advertised. This is the SECOND TIME this has happened!! I passed on other seemingly good offers and chose a slightly higher priced package because it had Amazon Prime next to the price... obviously this means nothing! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Board and game got here earlier than expected! Unfortunately the disc is scratched up and my wii does not read the disc. Every other game works in it just fix except for the wii fit plus. What a bummer that i have to shell out more money for a non-scratched version of the game or buffer out the scratches.

The game is unusable. Won't even read.

Played Shaun White Snowboarding on this board all winter long. Freakin Rocks!It does not work as well on super-thick shag carpets. I use it on my short-shag carpet (thread are about 1/2-3/4 inches long), and it works great, but longer shags make it difficult for the Wii Board foots to register movement. The board works as a scale and helps with many different exercises and games too.

Kicking it old school with this decades old product. Fired up the Wii out of mothballs with sheltering in place and this balance board works better than our first one over a decade ago (scale is more accurate).
