Jasonwell Magnetic Aquarium Fish Tank Glass Algae Glass Cleaner Scrubber Floating Clean Brush(M)

I was using a smaller / cheaper one to clean before and could never get off the crusty stubborn algae from my saltwater tank. The scraper on this is like magic, it just scrapes right off and the magnet is STRONG so it's not separating like the old one used to. Definitely worth it!

I was going to buy one of the more name brand expensive one of these cleaners, but I saw the reviews for this one and decided to give it a try since the Large was cheap. And boy, am I happy i decided to try this since it worked like a charm! I Attached the STEEL blade and it removed weeks of stubborn algae build up on my glass easily! I am def going to buy a smaller one for my smaller tanks, since the Large I can use but the magnets are so strong that when you go to reattach it,when the magnets attach it squirts water up and it shoots out of the tank wetting everything around you. SO there is just a learning curve when using it, is all - otherwise great cheap product!!!UPDATE: the smaller or Medium is only plastic blades and they do NOT work as easy as the STEEL blades so there is a difference! I bought the Medium and it only has plastics blades that does a decent job BUT NOT as nearly as easy to remove tough algae build up as the STEEL blade on the Large one! So keep that in mind!

It's small but mighty. Works well enough but go slow or magnet slips.

What can I say?The magnet is very strong and it cleans well.It also floats in case you do somehow lose it.

Works even better than I hoped ! And don't have to clean as often. Takes everything off and the rubber like surface is easier to clean than fabric ones I've had in the past.

The price is great, I like the little attachable plastic scrapers on the end, but the part that goes inside the tank was not connecting to the outside very well. I used this on two aquariums and the entire time it just kept popping off. It actually squished a couple of my floating plants because of this. It removed some of the buildup on the inside thanks to the scrubbers on the pad, but not so great at the wiping of the buildup.

I’m writing this review on the day I receive this tank cleaner because I’m very impressed with the quality and ease of use. I used it today to clean my salt rock tank and i used the stainless scraper. The first thing I noticed is that the scraper actually extends the cleaning area where the pad won’t go. The scraper does a great job removing stubborn algae black dot algae whichPads have a hard time removing. I leave it in the tank full time as the salt water will not hurt it.To sum it up if your looking for a good cleaning pad with a removable scraper THIS IS IT!! I bought the med size for my 29 gal tank and the magnets are perfect and unlike other bad reviews the magnets are very strong. I think alot of the bad reviews that claimed “very weak magnets”well i think they bought the wrong size for there tank glass thickness.You can’t go wrong with this product just make sure you buy the right size for your tank. As for the people that keep asking “will this work on a acrylic tank” well as it states on the amazon page “its not for acrylic tanks” guess if people actually read the description They wouldn’t keep asking the same question over and over again. Buy it you can’t go wrong.

This algae scraper is nearly useless. The scraping side has hard plastic scrubbers that do very little to remove algae. You need to constantly keep scraping at the same spot to remove even “soft” algae and not even completely. After trying for a minute I pulled out my 15 year old magnetic scrubber and it took off the same algae in one swipe! The magnet is also pretty weak, which is one of the reasons it doesn’t work well—there isn’t enough leverage. I didn’t even bother trying to use the plastic razors. It’s also a little too big for the 5.5 gallon I wanted to use it on. Too bad, I wanted to upgrade to a floating magnetic scrubber but it’s not going to be this one. I’m returning right away!

Amazing product and unsurpassed value for the money! I bought this for the blade to eliminate some tough algae on the glass of my 120 gallon. In less than 5 minutes, it was pristine. FYI, the magnetic is super strong. I'm very, very happy with it.

This product does what it says it does! And cleans it so good well worth the money!

2nd largest size purchased. Works well with 5-6mm glass. Stainless steel scraper has a blunt blade which doesn't scratch glass, yet works well and gets into corners. Without scraper it would take too long IMO. Requires several passes over the same spot, will not clean in just one pass.
