Instructions could be clearer, maybe a link to a you tube tutorial would help which is what I did. I ended up buying a different set so I could see the tube immediately and could accurately measure the size I wanted instead of trying to guess how long it was or waiting for it to appear out of the doll.

Lovely kit
Lovely little set. My 5 year old was keen to try knitting. Thought she would get bored within mins but she actually still loves using this regularly.

For an absolute beginner it did take a bit of time to get used to the French knitting process. But great tools are included to help.
