I've used this type of marker before with my sewing/quilting and always loved them. The brand I got before was fine except for the price and when it was empty you just tossed the pen. Seeing these had refills made me want to try them. They work as well as the more expensive pens and when you use one up you only have to toss the empty ink cylinder and place a new one. I may never need to rebuy these there are so many refills. Great Green idea and I strongly recommend. I've been using them for several months and quite happy.

These fabric pens are pretty nice! The blue and red are the brightest, while the white is very hard to see. The black shows well on really light fabric. Easy to install and since I just got them, I can not say whether that are long lasting or not. The ink does totally disappear when ironed. I would purchase again!

I was unsure at first, but I'm impressed with these fabric pens. The ink flow is good once you get it started, very easy to use and change out. The fact that it comes with several refills is great! You will need them if you're doing very much marking. I use them to mark my designs for hand quilting as well as tracing out my embroidery work. Pens functionality is smooth and as accurate as your hand is guiding it lol! My one complaint and the reason I disnt give 5 stars is the red and blue inks do not seem as good as the black and blue. I have had several of the sticks not work at all for those 2 colors, unsure why. Could be they are too dry already but I do like this product and would recommend it.

I purchased these pens to use on my sewing projects. They are great and I wish I had known of them years ago! Ok like the other comments the white pens do not work. And yes they do run out of ink far faster than a regular pen, but for the price this is not an issue. The marks easily disappear with only light ironing. If you look real close, you might see a faint mark, but nothing that concerns me. They seem to mark on any fabric I have used, including a heat resistant batting for pot holders, oven mitts etc. that have a plastic film on the outside. I have no complaints about the markers. I will purchase them again, and I recommend them to anyone. Update on 03/10/2023 - I have ordered these twice more since the initial review. Same comments, they work great, white ones are a bust. I will order them again, and I do recommend them to other buyers.

One of plugs on the end of the pen was difficult to get off and I had to use a pair of pliers after breaking a fingernail. The result was that both the pen and the plug broke. I tried another one and the plug came out easily. But then the ink cartridge would not protrude out the tip of the pen, even after reinserting the plug. I tried another one, same result. At this point I decided to just use the cartridge without the pen (casing). First I used the black cartridge... the line on the fabric was very light, almost too light to see, and I could only make a visible line by pressing very hard, which made the cartridge difficult to draw with as well as making an impression on the fabric. The black ink began to disappear after a few seconds before I even ironed it (room temperature about normal, probably 70 degrees F). The blue ink worked a little better and made a more visible line, and it disappeared instantly when I ironed it (yay!). The red ink had about the same result as the black (very light line). The white ink was a complete failure... even on black fabric it only made some very faint smudges, not what you could really call a line, AND as it says on the information sheet it doesn't appear at all until after a few seconds which makes it pretty difficult to "draw" anything with it like you might want to do with free motion quilting, because you can't see what mark you have already made until you wait a few seconds. Anyone who has any experience drawing would appreciate the challenge this presents. Finally, out of curiosity I put the test fabric in the refrigerator (probably around 35 or 40 degrees F) and the lines re-appeared. Very dissatisfied with this product.

I did buy 32 but i got only 28. It is missing 4 pens. Anyway what I liked most about these pens is that the internal refills of these pens fit perfectly in the bodies of the Madame Sew pens, which are always more expensive than the others, I don't know why, if they are all the same thing. By the way i liked this one better, white color works very good. I found the price excellent, the inks also come out very easily, no need to squeeze! I recommend it for the price and the quality. But I did not get 36, only 28😒 5 stars anyway!!!!

What a great new product. Was very surprised at the ease of use. Definitely disappeared with heat. Might want to keep on the wrong side of fabric.

This was the third time I have ordered these fabric pens with the heat-soluble ink. And although I've had some trouble in the past getting the tip protector to unscrew to place the ink refill inside, these pens are almost impossible to get unscrewed. I have broken three of them trying to put in a new refill. Another problem with some of the ink refills is that they tend to stop working even though they show there is plenty of ink left. When you are able to ge the ink refill in and it doesn't stop working, it works well for marking fabric and is completely removed with an iron.
