UPDATE - They work great... BUT...
Received these late last February and loved using them - until the silicon cover on the right side fell off on its own and got lost last week (barely 5 months of non-sport usage). Don't know where or how to get a replacement silicone cover and really don't want to have to buy another entire headset because of that - otherwise I would have given this one 5 stars. UPDATE: Shockz replaced the product for me - in fact they upgraded me for free to new OpenRun since they had discontinued my model - return process was very smooth and interaction with the company was very professional and constructive. VERY happy with their product/service and will definitely stick around!

They work well, but they are a compromise.
These headphones work well, but they are a compromise. When playing music, the sound is ok, not great, but for me it is an easy tradeoff for not having anything stuck in my ears. These are not good for blasting music. If the volume is too high, there can be an uncomfortable buzzing sensation, but this can be avoided by adjusting volume or repositioning. I have been told that the sound quality when I talk on the phone is great – others wouldn't guess I was using headphones. The controls are fairly simple to use, but the button action beeps are quite loud.

News flash: One of my ear pieces stopped working (the right one after a verrrry small fall from couch to floor), I will report back on the warrantee process. - The main strength of this product is overlayed/ non-blocking audio. It's like you're listening to a stereo system that only you can hear. It's really awesome for biking, for hanging out, for driving-- I wear it all the time. - They will never fall off and become lost. - Excellent wireless strength to my iPhone- as good as AirPods. - Good microphone quality.. never had someone complain, but doesn't get rid of (e.g.) a vacuum cleaner like AirPods does. - Sound quality you get used to and come to like... It's different than in/over-ear headphones. Bass is a little lacking but you wouldn't want strong bass rattling those particular bones in your ear. It (mostly) bypasses your eardrums, which feel bass most. - I like that if I turn off my bluetooth speaker, my iPhone automatically routes audio to my Trekz. The drawbacks are things that could probably be addressed in a software update (if there were a Trekz update app): Volume: Alert, e.g. "charge me," volume can not be changed-- and the declaration of battery level is really loud-- the maximum volume. If you hit the volume button multiple times it repeats the "battery level" message that number of times. Shouldn't queue the message. You might do this if you forgot you needed to play music to change volume level. This is probably an iPhone issue, but if you turned the volume all the way up for an audio book, then wanted to turn down the volume before playing music, you can't do that. You have to play music before you adjust your audio, blasting your ears (or take off the device ha ha). Battery: "Charge me" blares in your ear, or on your night table, waking you up at night if it decides it's time to be charged. Once it detects low power, the device very often declares its low power state, shouting "charge me"-- multiple times per minute on occasion. It should just say it once per 15 minutes AT MOST. The thing is strapped to my head, after all. The device never turns off automatically- I like that, except it should turn off automatically if it's disconnected or intermittently disconnected (iPhone far away) for a while. Maybe it should also turn off automatically if not playing anything and the battery is low? Honestly, "charge me" makes the device unusable without medium or high battery charge. Pairing: When using multiple device pairing, or when signal is low, yields plentiful "disconnected to reconnected" noises. For instance, if you connect it to your laptop and iPhone, and walk away to another room you'll hear tons of beeps. On top of that, I could not get multiple device pairing to stream audio from both an iPhone and a MacBook, even one at a time. If you walk out of range of your phone to the restroom or something, this thing will beep every few seconds till it’s reconnected... Beeping once is probably all I need unless I hit a button. If it's disconnected and you hit a button it could read "disconnected." Redial last number: There's been precisely one time when redialing the last number has been useful. Otherwise, it's incredibly stressful to have the device redial. It should delay two seconds, and if you hit the main button again-- it should read "cancelled," otherwise I have to rapidly stop my bicycle, pull out my iPhone and double check/ cancel the call. It's embarrassing to call a colleague, ringing zero or one time because my headset misbehaved-- when I'm trying to enjoy a bike ride. Writing this all up is a lot of free work for the company, but I honestly like the product enough that I hope they'd incorporate these improvements just so I can use it.

I have used at least 5 different pairs/types of wireless headphones to use while running and walking. The ear buds that go in my ears hurt my ears after about 30 minutes. The AfterShokz Trekz bone conduction headphones are hands down the best pair I have ever owned! They do not hurt my ears at all! (Even after 4 hrs of use!) I wear glasses, and sometimes wear sunglasses over those, and these headphones do not interfere with those in any way. I don't even realize I am wearing them. I even wear a beanie hat or a baseball hat with a visor, and still no problem. I have seen others say to get the minis if they have a small head. I am 5'1" and the size of these do not bother me at all. They hang down in the back. You would think that would bother me, but it does not. They don't rub on my shirt collar. Maybe because they hang down a little, that is why they don't bother me with glasses on or a hat, as they don't seem to interfere with anything. I can hear the music and still hear things going on around me, like traffic. I hang them around my neck and keep them "off" at races until just before the race starts. I make sure to charge them the night before a race. I have used them up to 4 hrs at the time and still had a charge. They paired really easily with my android phone. I have also used them to answer calls while running. It was super easy, and I could hear everything very clearly. I don't know if they are waterproof, but I ran a race recently in the rain, and they worked fine. I have the paired with my phone, which stays in my hip pouch when I run. I listen to podcasts and music. There are some podcasts where you can't hear the speakers properly and some that I have no problem hearing. Some of my prior wireless headphones had issues with fading in and out, or temporarily losing the bluetooth connection. I have never once had that happen with these. I highly recommend these headphones!

Très bon produit, de plus par son positionnement devant l’oreille il ne fait pas mal pour les gens qui ont des petits conduit ce qui était le cas auparavant. Il est léger et super pour faire du sport
