Looks nice but build quality is very bad that it broke on first use....

I travel a lot and needed a pole that would fit in my luggage and this one fit the bill perfectly. It can handle a fish up to 20 lbs (in my opinion and experience) and is well made. I have absolutely no complaints.

Worked great then the tip broke off with barely any pressure.

I've had the rod for about a year and a half now and it is great. I've packed it for trips where I would use a light surf rod. It performs well and is a very reasonably priced rod. I would definitely recommend it.

I decided to buy this product even though I was concerned about some of the reviews. Especially the about the sections not fitting properly. This was exactly the case with mine. I decided try something and will pass it on. I took silicone past to both of the mating ends which aloud the two sections to fit better but correctly. I then kept sliding in and out to where it would bind. Then with a twisting motion made both ends wear down. Constantly removing the silicone that had the built up Corbin dust and adding fresh silicone. I had to this to all the sections to get them to fit correctly. Otherwise the rod was useless. It took over a hour to work all the peaces in place. Otherwise the rod is nicely made. I would have given it a higher score if it wasn’t for the fit. So beware if you are not willing to work all the sections until they fit properly. This product is not for you.
