NEM Horizontal Leather Carrying Case with Magnetic Closure, Belt Clip and Loops, Compatible with Nokia Lumia 928, 925, 920, 822, 820, 808 or 720 with a Thick Protective Case on it

The magnetic closure on this case is not as secure, in my opinion, as my other case. It doesn't have that pull that one would expect when disconnecting two magnets. I am comparing this to a previous case I've had that was more secure. I feel it is turned upside down then the phone may come out. I have done this many times to test it and it hasn't but it's just the perception because of the weak closure that it feels. I haven't intentionally dropped it inside the case to see if the phone would come out [really want to do that but don't want to do anything to the phone - will drop it I'm sure just holding it] because that would be a decision maker if I keep it or get something else.It's plenty big for the Lumia 928. I only have a screen protector on my phone so I can't say if I put a hard case on it, that this case will be big enough. It will depend on the length of the case. The depth of the case will be fine.I bought this because I needed something to attach to the phone to me instead of carrying it in a purse, pocket, etc. This is the second case that I have had that has had a magnetic closure. I use the clip-on part for the belt. Feels a little loose but it hasn't come off but I'm sure it depends how you are sitting also, so it may slip off.

This particular case works very well for my Nokia Lumia 920. I needed something to keep my phone on me without worrying about it falling off and this case does just that.Pros-The built-in magnetic clasp provides good protection while not limiting your ability to get to the phone quickly.-The belt loops offer a more convenient way to ensure that the case stays firmly to your person.-The hole on the bottom offers even more convenience when trying to retrieve your phone from the case.-The elastic sides offer a good fit for a variety of different devices.Cons-With a protective case installed on larger phones that have a cover for the headphone jack on the corner, that cover sometimes will get caught in the elastic sides and be held open.-The case will fit a little too well when first purchased, but there is a break-in period for everything.-The clip works well in most scenarios, but after daily use, will become stretched and cause the case to come off the users side.-Personal Opinion; as advertised, the case comes with a filter and antenna booster that is just extra junk, save the buyer some money and leave that stuff out.Bottom LineThis is the case for a variety of users with a Nokia Lumia. From the field to the office or home, this case will provide protection and a convenient way to have access to your phone at all times.

Okay so, here's the thing...I wouldn't rate this holster as 'oversized' maybe? However, I wouldn't say that it's exactly regular sized either. So, I have a Trident Aegis case, and with that on my Lumia 928, it fit perfectly in this holster. When I say perfectly, I mean it slid into this case without being really snug. It didn't drop into the case, but it did slide into the case without any real issue. If my phone had been naked, it most certainly would be sliding around back and forth in this case and in that sense, yes, it would be an 'oversized' case.That said, this holster fits my new case that I just got perfectly, and it does drop down in and doesn't slide side to side, or flop around. So, to the grit of the matter. I wasn't really impressed with the material of this case, and I think that it may wear out after a while, but let's be honest, what case doesn't that you wear on your hip day after day that gets abused by virtue of that location alone? Not to mention your paws handling it a million times a day taking your phone in and out of it? Will I replace it with another one just like it? You betcha! Because it fits my case exactly and I looked everywhere trying to find one that did and this one /does/. It fits my Aegis, and my others and looks good and there you have it.As far as the Radiation Shield and Antenna..meh, won't use them. This case is a good buy if you want a holster that will handle most of the cases out there for the Lumia line.

So, I actually bought this for my dad's Moto G (3rd Gen.) phone because it's the same size as one "made" for his phone, but was nearly half the price. The case (holster?) seems to be put together well -- the stitching is tight, the magnet is not too weak or too strong, and the belt clip won't easily be nudged off the belt -- and should last a good long time. His phone has a slim case on it -- a  TUDIA Scratch Resistant LUCION Lightweight Hybrid Matte Back Panel Protective Cover for the Motorola Moto G 3 (3rd Gen 2015 Released) (Gray)  -- and fits snugly into the leather case without being too tight. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because my dad has begun to notice some black marks being transferred onto his Tudia case after just one week's use. Other than that, he's happy with it.

I had two questions when I bought this. Would it stay on my belt and how long would it last. Well, it stays on my belt pretty well. And I'm a large fellow so my body is challenging its hold at times. It's pretty convenient to use, although it does sometimes cause my camera to be activated, I've noticed; probably because I hit the case with my hand or something. Now, I bought it in mid June 2016 and the clip broke this week. So that's 20 months. Moral of the story, this is a pretty good product, but buy a spare so you're ready to go 20 months later.
