Hagen Marina Decor Mangrove Root, Large

It adds a very natural decor setting to the aquarium. Placed a plant in the middle of the mangrove roots and now my fish sleeps there.Definitely would buy it again.Arrived a day earlier if the estimated delivery date.Very happy with the overall purchase experience.

I bought this for a 10 gallon tank with two small goldfish. They outgrew their little cave that they had been sleeping in together and needed an upgrade. It’s a huge decoration (it sits barely below the waterline and width-wise fills over a third of the tank!) but some plants around it make it a cozy hangout and it’s open enough that it doesn’t impede their swimming much. I like that it has lots of holes so no one gets stuck or bumps into it while turning around. It looks pretty darn real and the fish love it!Mine was well packaged in styrofoam and arrived in one piece. After two months a small patch of paint on the inside has come off but otherwise it looks brand new. I haven’t had any issues with smell or fungus, though I have a couple shrimp that spend 90% of their day keeping this particular decoration clean (it seems to be an algae magnet), and everyone in the tank is healthy. It has a couple rough spots that could be sanded down for delicate fish, but my clumsy fantail has yet to rip its tail like it has occasionally on other decorations. Would definitely recommend this for bigger tanks than mine.

Really like this product but it arrived damaged. Cost of return to USA is far too expensive.

This is in my Fluval Edge 12 gallon aquarium. I purchased that from Amazon also. I needed this plant to hide the submersible heater - also purchased from Amazon, lol - but I ended up laying the heater down on the back wall, so now this is just a decorative plant, but I really like the way it looks in the tank. I think it is perfect for my needs. I have tried to include a picture, so I hope you can see it. Everything but the gravel and fish was delivered to my door from Amazon. All of the other decorations and the thermometer are also from them.I absolutely "love" Amazon!!

I really like this. I debated on getting this, not sure if it would look real enough but the reviews sold me. I have a 125 gallon tank and it goes great, not too big or too small, might get another for the other end. Goes great with live plants, or it would artificial too. I planted some moss on the tip stump part. My dwarf guariami has made the middle of it his spot. I have half grown discus but I think the opening is too small for their liking, they do like to hang out around it though. Came intact, surprised on that one because it wasn't wrapped very tight in the huge box it came in. UPDATE, 2 yrs. later.......... I still enjoy this piece, occationally move it aound, right now it's in my 36 gallon bowfront. I have pennywort wrapped around it and it looks great. Fish love it, my Rams try to take over the middle often. The holes are plenty big enough for my Glowfish to swim in and out of. I tried growing moss on it but it wouldn't attach, planting a vining plant in the substrate and winding it up works great, pennywort is easy to grow and looks neat. It could be done with artificial plants too.
