What is the weight limit? Are the rings metal or plastic?

Hi Justin,We recommend 300 pounds, although testing is higher.The handles are a combination of injected PE plastic and metal. There is a metal insert embedded in the plastic eye, as a reinforcement that enables the ring for higher loading than your traditional all plastic triangle trapeze handles.We have provided a diagram on the Listing which helps to provide you more details. Anyone had issues with rusting?

It is coated with plastic except for he very top of the chains (as pictured). We haven't had a rust problem so far.

Can the trapeze bar be taken on and off so the rings can be used independently from each other and not fixed? I would like that option, if possible.
