Bloomin' brilliant!
My goodness, I LOVE this mop! This has answered all my prayers! By no means am I a domestic goddess, living with a 10 year old son and a mechanic/lorry driver husband means a whirlwind of destruction follows wherever they go. Combined with 3 cats, 8 snakes, and bits of horse hair, hay, and whatever else, cleaning floors has always been a tedious, long task that's fruitless the second the front door opens. But this thing is fab. It's so easy to mop, the wet wipes are literally dripping as you pull them out of the packet and stay wet for a good time. The dry wipes are like having a giant static duster which all the little fluffballs of cat hair stick to instantly. The swivel head is marvellous making corners and awkward places easy peasy. I even love the handle. It's properly built and not a flimsy thing that shortens if you put pressure on or breaks. An absolute bargain for the money and the best £18 I've ever spent! My floors now shine :-)

The Swiffer Sweeper is a great tool to have around the house
The Swiffer Sweeper is a great tool to have around the house. I like using it for quick cleaning on my hardwood floors, it's better than a regular broom as the dry cloths easily pick up dust and hairs and when they get covered you can turn them over and use the other side. The refill cloths are quite pricey so I am currently using Pledge fragranced refill cloths from the supermarket (on offer at £1.50 for 30) they fit this sweeper and work just as well as Swiffer cloths.

but will definitely use this to clean in hard to reach / duct prone places like under sofas
I bought this to be able to clean my wood floors in hard to reach places (namely to reach the dust collecting under my sofas). It works perfectly in doing that, and the angle of the 'mop' head lets you get it in narrow spaces. The pads work really well in attracting dust and keeping it stuck to the pad until you bang/brush the mop head out doors. It's a shame that the cotton pads aren't (technically) reusuable and seems a little wasteful by today's standards. I'm sure this is intentional, looking at the cost of the cloths, but I rinsed out the cloth by hand to at least get one more use out of it. Due to the cost of the cloths, I probably wont be using this to clean the whole house, but will definitely use this to clean in hard to reach / duct prone places like under sofas, TV units etc.

Much more than a floor cleaner
Had this for 2 weeks now and I'm not usually one for rating everything I do online 'BUT' this product is truly amazing, to say the least! I actually go around with the dusting cloth and do floors, kitchen units, doors, mirrors, pictures, wardrobe (including top) and will even admit to doing walls with it the first time I used it. Oh and yes it's excellent on my new wooden floor, so I'd strongly recommend buying one before you have it fitted.Even though I'm not asthmatic I can imagine it would be perfect solution for keeping dust at bay! It's just so easy to use, I honestly do wish I'd bought one a long time ago!

OK
Swiffer. Of course. What a lovely word. You Swiffer from side to side and it's okay but if you take it momentarily off the floor, you are likely to deposit whatever is on the bottom of the wipe and you have to go back to retrieve it. Got fed up with all manner of mops which never seemed to do the job properly so got this. It's okay but for the above. At least the (sometimes generic) floor wipes used with it don't leave a sodden floor.
