Not an erector set from the 70’s or 80’s
- delivery was quick - Pieces are smaller than I expected- leaves a lot to the imagination as there is only 1 “plan” on building something and seems short on gears for something that is motorized (only 2 Lg and 2 sm cogs)

Erector building is far better for kids than gaming or mindless scrolling on the internet.
This was a present for a 10 year old granddaughter. She was confused at first as the parts were in bags and not a present she could use or play with right away. The motorized walking mover took two sit downs to complete, each about an hour and a half. After unpacking, reviewing the instructions and getting organized, batteries were inserted into the motor. With the motor spinning forward and reverse her interest picked up. Continuing to add additional parts the mover took shape like some strange robotic bug.The instructions are good not great. So a few mistakes (as is the case with any build or project) were made and corrected. She learned about using the driver to secure fastners and lefty loosy righty tighty. Her hands learned how to align the tools with the parts and secure the fastners. In the end the mover walked across the table to her delight and her younger sisters amazement. All in all for 35 bucks it was well worth the time and the learning experience. For all of us.

good
My 10-year-old son likes it very much, but he said that the tutorials in it are too simple. After finishing the spelling, he removed it and went to see other tutorials online. It was very good and the hands-on ability was very good.

Great for autistic kiddos who love STEM
I bought this for my eight year old son. He is autistic and LOVES taking things apart and building anything. There is a large assortment of pieces to choose from and let creativity run wild. We had to buy a little plastic bin to ensure I didn’t step on tiny screws in the middle of the night!
