Why should I buy this? I could lean forward and achieve the same angle recommended by the web site.

It is nothing like a plain box put in front of the toilet. it's angled which achieves maximum effect it also perfectly fits around the bottom of your toilet bowl which is great for storage. and it's designed to support a few hundred pounds so you could actually use it as a step stool it has ridges underneath which offer built-in support and security. I've been a customer there since they were on Shark Tank and they used to only cost $10 a piece you could get two for 20. They now cost $25 online for each one and I'm buying my fifth one I have one for every bathroom in my home. And after many years of hard use the first one I ever purchase still looks as as it did the day it came home. Do yourself a favor and purchase one of these before you knock it it really is a very quality product. And because it's made from polyurethane will probably last you a lifetime. it also does not off gas at all which is very nice.

Two large coffee cans will work great. I use the big 30 oz cans, one on each side of the toilet. If you buy coffee, you might as well save money and just use the empty cans.
