Q: are the caster true ball bearing wheels

Yes, they are true ball bearing casters. I highly recommend greasing them up prior to using though. I am not saying that i have had any problem but i know a greased bearing works and lasts longer than one that has not been.

Q: Can you leave a vehicle on these indefinitely, without damaging them?

We leave our 4000 lb Jaguar xjs on them in the garage over the winter..... about 6 months. Have done this for several years and they aren't showing any sign of wear.

Q: From what i can tell these caster wheels are capable of a 6k lbs load..are the platforms capable as well..i'm moving a 2000lbs seaplane

I've had a 3000 lb race car sitting on them for a year and move it around my garage all the time. I haven't had any issues with them supporting the weight. I don't use them outside of the garage because I don't want the casters to get wet and end up with a corrosion issue in the bearings. However the casters can be replaced if need be.

Q: will 12.4" wide tires fit?
