I've owned the 36 oz. Rambler for several weeks now. I compare it to the Stanley Thermos I used for 35+ years and the Rambler is no better, and maybe not as good, at keeping my coffee hot. It is very attractive and the stainless body should be very durable. The large mouth/opening makes it easier to clean than the Stanley and it's lighter weight. It's nice that all parts are dishwasher safe. But I had to buy the Chug Cap to pour from it without making a mess. I question the durability of the cap, particularly the thread in the outer part of the cap. It's easy to carry holding it from the cap provided or Chug Cap but a bit large in diameter to hold comfortably with one hand to pour.

The Yeti Rambler does everything that is expected of it. It keeps my coffee appropriately hot all morning. In fact, one evening I filled it with hot coffee and stuck it in the fridge hoping by morning I could have cold iced coffee, but when I removed it nearly 10 hours later, the coffee was still drinkable, hot. Alternatively, it will keep iced beverages cool (ice in tact) all day. Perfect for water on road trips, backpacking, etc. I wish that it fit into more car cupholders and that it fit into my day pack's external bottle carrier. I would recommend Yeti over competitors like Hydroflask.

Use every day. Holds enough to get me through the day and refill when I get home. It's a bit bulky and I have a hard time getting my hand in to clean, but if you have a brush for washing dishes, no problem. The lid can seal very tight if you're not careful, especially when using for soup, but it seems leak proof even when not cranked down. My wife damaged hers by what looks like she ran it over (still don't know what actually happened and it's still functional and lid still seals. It's way to heavy for backpacking, but good for camping for a weekend.
