I've experienced using these mugs at a restaurant, and they keep your water really cold. Would be great on a hot day or if you just want your beverage to be ice cold. They are fancy, shiny mugs. 1 came with the bottom that had rough area that's probably not coated enough, picure above. The handle is a plus on how you can hold the mug and rest your thumb. It's very comfortable in the hand. Another Amazon person whose used these mugs, said this is the ones to get. There's several different brands. And the price isn't much different. They look & feel like quality. They're light weight.

I bought a set of six for my son for his birthday. He wanted them with thumb rest to replace a previous pair he had. He was very excited and pleased with the hammered copper and that they also had the thumb rest. They are beautifully made and of high quality.

I bought these for an upcoming dinner party where I plan to make Moscow mules. I’m very excited to use these well-made, durable copper mugs for all my guests to enjoy!The mugs feel slightly heavy in a satisfying way. The thumb rests are awesome, and the copper color is deep and authentic-looking. Very pleased with these!I would definitely recommend hand washing these mugs only. I saw another reviewer mention that his or her mugs were losing color after putting them through the dishwasher. I think this is more due to copper not being dishwasher safe than any defect in these products. Just something to consider!

These copper and stainless steel cups were used as seating arrangements (added tags to them), for use during our party, and as a gift to take home for our guests.The size was great and price was good and quality was Ok. The thing that makes it look a bit cheaper is the hammered indentations of the metal. You can tell that it’s a cheaper product, as the indentations are a bit too deep. I have a nicer set that I like to display at home, and these do not compare to those. However, for our use, it was perfect and still a hit. Would recommend. Kept our drinks cold!

My limited amount of research (nosing around the internet, really), turned up few variations between mule cups. These are heavy enough, attractive, I like the hammered look as opposed to smooth, and I like the nice flat thumb-hold at the top of the handle for ease of holding--you kind of need it because they hold a good amount. Definitely not small. I made one was considered an 8-person pitcher of cocktails and the four mule cups, to my surprise, held all of it--even though they were full of ice. I like them. They were festive, they washed up nicely and look pretty on the shelf.

These cups get sooooo cold. I make mules in these cups and the drinks are crispy.

False advertising, the changed the description to “stainless steel copper coated” after my purchase, not even pure copper.
