Will this kill grass? I have extensive poison ivy roots in a grassy area in a corner of my property?

It will NOT kill grass. I have over sprayed multiple times and it is harmless to grass (St. Augustine and Bermuda both - can't speak for any other species of grass.)

Can this be applied to sucker trees?

It will kill (or severely damage) the tree if you do. Google "sucker stopper". There is a product made just for to stop suckers from growing without harming the plant. Good Luck.
