Simple Strike Metal Stamping Jig, Easy-Grip Stamp Holder for Metal Hand Stamping (3mm)

Must have for beginner stampers. This made my stamping so much easier and I would definitely recommend it to any other beginner.

This tool lines up my stamp very nicely. In fact, on my little trademark stamp I can make a clean impression without holding the stamp or tool. Wish I had found these long ago.

I do love the stamping tool, but I think I was sent the wrong size. The tool I received is a 3mm and my stamp is 6mm. Since I spent $20 on the thing, I forced my stamp in it and am using it any way. It works better than not having the holder. But the right size would probably be a great thing.

I used this for the first time today and found it quite handy (pun intended :) ). And it did indeed save my hand from being flattened numerous times. It takes a little bit of practice but ultimately I got the hang of it. I’m glad I bought it. I would definitely recommend this to my jeweler friends.

This does exactly what it says it does - it will protect your fingers and hold the stamp in place. However, it's difficult to tell where you've placed your stamp while using this jig. For a beginner, it's nice because you can get the feel of hitting the stamp without worrying about smashing your fingers - but once you're comfortable with striking, this just kinda gets in the way. Plus, it only holds the size stamp it's designed for - so the 3mm letters and symbols are fine, but it was of no help with the bigger 6mm stamps that require a harder strike, and thus a higher chance to smashing a thumb. I would like to see this design adjusted to hold the jig itself slightly above the surface of what you're stamping so you can check placement better.

This tool really makes it easier to keep the metal pieces straight and steady when hammering.

It is what it says it is. For me though not a useful tool at all and now I can’t return which is ridiculous considering it says it’s eligible for refund. Now I’m stuck with it and out of pocket. Absolutely do not recommend this, total waste of money! Makes no sense why I can’t return it, very frustrating

Honnêtement soit je n'ai pas la méthode pour l'utiliser soit c'est vraiment cher pour l'usage. J'ai tenté de l'utiliser lais le tampon ne s'enfoncait pas uniformément dans la matière alors que sans on peut légèrement incliné le clou...je suis perplexe

Delivery was really quick and the product is really easy to use and ergonomic. I also didn’t realise it came with a stamp which was a nice surprise.
