Lulu Home Unfinished Basswood Sheets, Basswood Plywood Sheets for Crafts, 2mm Basswood Sheet, 5 PCS

I tried cutting this with my Cricut maker and after 21 passes with the knife blade, I gave up. It's only 2mm thick and Cricut can cut up to 2.4mm, so I'm assuming this isn't real basswood. It didn't even get close to cutting through this wood. I'm sure I'll find another use for it, but very disappointed that it won't work with my Cricut.

Beware, these aren’t whole basswood sheets-you can clearly see a very thin ‘skin’ of basswood that’s glued over some sort of chip material in between. Very poor quality. Do not buy if what you’re looking for is actual basswood. Honestly this stuff is garbage.

The wood was just falling apart while I was trying to cut out a simple design on my cricut.

SO the description says these are natural basswood sheets but they are not. it is basswood plywood. not recommended for use with craft machines. we tried getting a perfect cut for almost 3 hours but it did not cut through for the given thickness. the cutting blade wore-off . we could not even return the item as we tried using two of these to cut our project. extremely disappointed.

The quality of the wood is excellent. The only problem I had was that one piece was narrower than the others. Just an inconvenience, not a deal breaker. I would recommend this product and would buy it again if I needed it.
