I’ve had my Scag 48” for 13yrs and have only mowed my own lawn(s). This year I was asked to mow my church’s disc golf fairways. Decided to buy this sulky due to previous comments. Wow! It’s nice. Made mowing the fairways a snap and cut the time to mow my own lawn in half! Finally able to get my mower up to top speed and it moves and cuts great. Features that I’ve always struggled mowing around in my own lawn are so much easier with a sulky to maneuver around. As for this product: bolted up easily, love the single wheel - no issues so far as one other had mentioned, I can easily hope on and off and I mow up and down a ravine and water retention pond, perforations on the platform keep me secure.

WAITING ON COMPANY TO CALL ME BACK
IT LOOKS GREAT , ITS STURDY , HAEVY DUTY. BUT, THE ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND SO FAR IS YOU CANT BACK UP WITH IT ATTACHED. UNLOADING OFF A TRAILER WILL BE A NIGHT MERE. THE SULKY WONT FLIP ALL THE WAY AROUND WHEN BACKING. JUST TRYED IT OUT . WORKS GREAT . AND T/Y MR. BRADLEY FOR CALLING ME BACK. ITS A KEEPER. JUST TIE IT UP EXITING THE TRAILER. THANX AGAIN!! WARD

Very well made and nice. First single wheel I’ve owned and I think I’m going to really like it. Installation was a little tough but not at the fought of the product, the way my mowers pumps sit made it difficult. Over all install time took less than 45 minutes

Nice but no Velkie
This is built fairly well. But it lacks one important feature I overlooked. It can't rotate 360 degrees like a genuine Velkie. Fortunately this was just for a unit my son only uses at his house, so not a big deal. But if this was for a commercial application, that would be a big problem. Reason being, when you have to back up, you step off and do your backing up. Since this wheel can't rotate 360 degrees, it plows the wheel sideways tearing up the turf.

Should have bought a 2 wheel sulky
The unit works well on flat areas but my yard has a lot of slope in places and a 2 wheeled sulky would work better.
