Ridgemonkey EcoPower USB Heated Gas Canister Cover

I live in my van quite a lot when I'm on a fishing expedition.If you've ever relied on propane/butane EN417 (C500) gas cartridges you'll know that when the heating has been on a while the cartridges ice up and the heater goes out when the cans are still 1/3 full.I attempted to improvise a similar anti-icing system based on electronic hand-warmers placed in bottom of regular neoprene cartridge jackets, and while it worked to some degree, it felt somewhat unsafe!Enter stage left these guys.The temperature is exactly right and covers far more of the cartridge so the gas within burns much more consistently and I have not yet had any icing problems at all. Cartridges used to ice up while 1/3rd still full which was really annoying.This product is well designed, robustly constructed, and it manages to get a great level of heat out of 5V USB sockets - which is no mean feat in itself.Very highly recommended!Update: Like the guy below is complaining, it's not meant to cover the whole can, just the top. It's the gas you need to heat, not the liquid in the bottom of the can.

The product is advertised as being able to fit "all common 440-500 size butane / propane mixture camping gas canisters". However, it does not fit one of the most common canisters, a Coleman C500. This is despite a C500 canister being featured in promotional material.I have taken a side-by-side image of (in order from left) a Coleman C500 canister, the product delivered to me by Amazon, and a product image photo which has been sized so that it matched the cylindrical diameter of the delivered product. I note the following differences:1) The delivered product is much shorter than what is portrayed in this listing2) The logo position and spacing is very different

Husband bought this for his fishing.It’s a good product but does take a while to heat up to temperature in order to make a difference (a good 10 minutes or so)

Zip broke while fitting a gas cylinder within 2 minutes its not the only ridgmonkey zips to go pop poor quality 😢

Works really well. You get to use every bit of gas in the cannister instead of 3/4. In the long run will save you money.
