This is one of those things you don't want to skimp on and this was well worth the cost.I had to remove armrests from a high-end office chair and what should've been a 5-minute procedure turned into at least 2-hours. Not only were the stripped bolts made of high-quality Carbon Steel with high strength and anti-corrosion, but they also had thread lock on them.Once the new extractor set came, I drilled a slightly deeper hole with an M42 drill bit (also for very hard metal) and twisted the extractor in by hand. After a quarter of a turn, it bit in so well, I didn't have to tap it in with anything. I removed it with a small handheld, multi-socket tool in a few minutes. It would've been quicker, but I had to address the nut on the other end that kept spinning as I was trying to remove it. That too, was impossible to get at so I shimmed it to keep it from turning.I've spent countless hours, if not days of my life removing broken and stripped nuts and bolts and it's no fun. This set made it easy and fun again! Also, if you're going to buy an extractor set, get a set that works for the worst case scenario. That means being able to remove automotive-grade bolts. Same goes for the drill bits. This way, you'll be able to use them on any type of metal. The cheap sets break and wear down so fast if you use it on anything besides cheap, soft metal.Thanks a lot for making a product that finally works!

This set works great, saved me a couple times already getting broken bolts out. I love that it has a chart that shows what drill bits to use with each extractor. I recommend this product.

For all those that said these are junk or don't work, you are wrong! I bought these as I had a stripped bolt on my 2004 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG. I had to remove the pulley (2 of them 1 bolt) and the plot was stripped. I drilled the whole according to the suggested size and added the easy out and with the help of Kroil Oil (best oil I have ever used) and tightening it slowly it was able to remove the bolt! Clean threads and this little kit saved me thousands of dollars! I recommend these and see images! Time to clean everything up and buy a new bolt and fix my water pump!

Good extractor for the price. I stripped out the mounting bolt for my motorcycle rotors, and this took took care of it for me.

To add insult to injury, the screw was drilled out to the specified measurements, following the instructions meticulously. This unexpected mishap turned a simple repair into a nightmare, as I now have to undertake the time-consuming and frustrating task of drilling and retapping the bolt hole.The quality of the Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel, touted as heavy-duty, proved to be highly disappointing. Instead of providing the strength and durability promised, the bits failed under what should have been standard usage conditions. This not only resulted in a waste of time and effort but also forced me to invest in additional tools to rectify the mess left behind by the XEWEA set.The product's claim to be a "Hex Head Multi-Spline Easy Out Bolt Extractor Set" fell flat on its face, as it clearly couldn't handle the job it was designed for. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and I would strongly caution others against considering the XEWEA 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set for any serious repair work. Save yourself the headache and opt for a more reliable and trustworthy alternative.

I tried 5 other products to no avail on a stubborn last bolt that was rounded off, on a transmission! Was able to drill into bolt then use this product with a drill. It WORKED on first try! It was pricey but worth it after going thru all the pains to get it out! SOOOO, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT WHEN ALL ELSE FAILED!
