Blocks cold air
Ok so this weather strip tape was a little tricky to use because it is very sticky. Although once on it does block the cold air very well. Now come spring I had to remove it from the windows. It came off easy enough but left a sticky residue on all the windows. Not happy about that. Had to clean everywhere I put the tape.So if you don’t mind cleaning sticky residue then this tape is for you.

Cheaper per foot than other brands, doing a fine job so far
Ohio just got first snow so it just went up. I just sealed the split in french doors inside and around a plexiglass window we slide in a storm door when the screen comes off for winter. I liked the width and the price per foot and the thickness and the modest stickiness. I will update again when I take it down in the spring. You'll need scissors to cut to length because this is much thicker than clear box tape that I can bite and tear by hand. For day one performance I am satisfied. I put my eyelids next to the seams I sealed before and after and it was definitely cold before and I felt no cold on my eyelids after (my dad taught me to use my eyelids instead of my hands to test for temperature changes because the skin is so thin and sensitive). Don't throw away the wrapper. I realized later that the inner cardboard is blank, so I fished the wrapper out of the trash and adhered it onto the blank cardboard roll, so anyone who goes into the tape cupboard next year will know what this plain looking roll is in the future.

Not sure if it will work. Doesn't stay on the trim or window, so its unlikely to peel paint.
I read the reviews about it not sticking and unfortunately they are right. I cleaned my trim and windows with rubbing alcohol and let them dry before apply and the tape still did not stay on the window or trim after applied. At first is seemed to but within a few hours parts of it began to come loose. Not sure how effective it will be against a draft, etc. since I am applying this early in the season, but given the lack of adhesion, I'm not too optimistic.

I compared it to standard packaging tape and it is much thicker and goes on easy. I do not live in cold climate
Used this tape to seal off the gaps between my portable air conditioner exhaust port and my window. The tape is strong, thick, and expandable... you can stretch it if necessary with enough force applied. I compared it to standard packaging tape and it is much thicker and goes on easy. I do not live in cold climate, so I just needed tape to seal off the gaps and keep out the hot air outside. I do not know if the adhesive will leave a residue on the window frame like packaging tape and duct tape will do, but I will update my review when I remove the tape at the end of summer.I was deciding between this MD brand and another brand, Frost King. The Frost King brand is around $11 for 100 feet of tape, but this brand is $7.39 for 100 feet, shipped. I can't imagine the Frost King being that much better, so I would recommend just going with MD.

Not good
As soon as wind blows it starts of come off, and that’s on the inside

Works great!
Easy to apply. It works great to stop drafts in this old house built in 1916. It is also easy to remove and reapply during application. Easy, affordable solution. I have windows that swing open like doors and enjoy being able to open in warmer seasons. This tape eliminates hassle and cost of winter caulk or weather stripping.

I couldn't use it.
I wasn't able to use it as I had hardware to go over.

Served its purpose
This tape served it purpose of sealing my windows over the Minnesota winter, and was so much faster and easier to apply than the clear window film (which generally loses its grip about 3/4 through the winter, and I'm too lazy to reapply). I haven't checked the numbers, but I feel like the energy savings were just as good if not slightly better than with the film.It did, however, rip quite a bit of paint off the windowsills when I took it off this week, but I wasn't especially surprised- the seal on this stuff is strong, and the same thing happened when I used the film last year, so I needed to repaint anyway.

Excellent value
Very pleased with product. Used to eliminate winter drafts. Works excellent and better yet when removed does not leave residual sticky glue on Windows.

Works well
Work well as a sealing tape but does not remove the paint on order windows.

Useless product, tape doesn't stick
I put the tape up yesterday with high hopes, this morning, several areas were flapping in the breeze. The tape simply does not stick, or perhaps to be more accurate, it does not remain stuck. I am throwing the rest in the garbage and consider it a lesson learned.

Ready for winter
I didn't need this wide but used it anyway. It curled off the frame on the sides. I tried cutting in half lengthwise and peeled off too. So cut into short strips and works ok. I like that if I make a mistake I can peel off and reuse.
