Q: When does amazon actually release this pop? because on the app it says the two sdcc 2016 exclusives will release july 29 2016.

I do not know when Amazon releases or even gets this as you had to attend this years Comic Con in San Diego this past week to buy this exclusive. I was there and have this item in hand for sale.
