There's a great Youtube video (How to use a Bira Craft 12x12 inch Scoring Board). You can make much bigger envelopes (and also boxes) than the little WRMK board.

Q: Does anyone use this to make 3D envelopes to hold embellished cards? Does it work well?

Yes, we have instructions for 3D box envelopes and it works very well. Please view the video link on this listing.

I haven't had any problem with mine. I don't know about a newer version
