It's a great diffuser, but the description was unclear. It does NOT turn off on its own. I've never had a diffuser that doesn't auto turn off. The instructions clearly state (from the box) "do not run diffuser without water". Well, that means that I have to continually get up and check on the diffuser and see if there is still water- which this diffuser doesn't have an easy way to check, so you have to turn it off and open it up. Which and so turns into a pain because there is a part that rests on the top- and DO NOT make the mistake of diffusing without it, it flooded my counter and ruined papers I had sitting on it. The part that rests on the top falls off easily, it doesn't click in which is also frustrating. The diffuser itself diffuses well, but it is very high maintenence.

Really inexpensive option that is functional. Overall, it works well. I love the color changing options and it's usually quiet. They run out of water fairly quickly and they have an auto shut off when that happens. However.... I have used a lot of these. I have two at home and my job has one in every room (that's how I was turned on to them). I feel like every one of them gets to a point where they make this loud noise where it sounds like the motor is just going VROOOOOOOOOOOOOM.... VROOOOOOOOOOOM. Really flipping annoying. After some toggling, the one in my room goes quiet (I'm assuming it's how the lid is aligned to the unit), but the other one doesn't fix as easily.

In the fourth picture provided for this product, included should be a power cord and measuring cup. Today I received only the humidifer! No instructions, no receipt, no measuring cup, and no power cord. Really frustrated that I now have to go through the process of returning a product that wasn't fulfilled properly.

The port connector broke after about 2 weeks. i already have 2 different oil difusers and this was a cheap one i wanted to get my wife when she was delivering our baby. but after i started using it at home the connection just broke. being only $15 i just threw it out because it was not a good oil difuser.

Thought this was a great deal & was excited to get it. After setting it up & plugging it in, it worked for a couple of hours & turned off automatically. When I tried to run it again, it would not work. I think, where this item is concerned, you get what you pay for.

Disappointed with this. It hardly diffuses well to cover a small area of the room. We don't feel its effectiveness at all. I wish I'd returned it, but vacillated too long. In the end we had to purchase a bigger one, but the results so far only slightly better. And it isn't that our space is that big! I wanted it for use with lavender and other essential oils that assist falling asleep, but short of putting it on a table behind my head, then and possibly then, I will experience the effects.

This is a great essential oil diffuser and humidifier. I keep this on my desk where I spend a lot of time and use whatever oils I need at the time. Most especially like it for essential oils that help with breathing and lungs. I have another one that is supposed to be 100 ml also but this one holds more water than my other one. Definitely would recommend to others.

I purchased this diffuser for $14.99. It's one of my favorites as far as the steady and strong stream of mist it puts in the air. I probably will buy a couple more for that price. I didn't give it 5 stars because I didn't receive instructions with it but it's my understanding from other reviews is that it suppose to have a 30 sec intervolt mist. Mine doesn't and the light just turns red. This doesn't bother me as I like the steady stream. Also every time I open the top to put water in water leaks out. I just make sure to dry the area when I finish refilling.
