I bought this because it looked nice and was at the right price point but was disappointed when the product broke on the second can. The connection between the twist handle and cutting blade is made out of plastic, and if the can opener gets stuck at any point the connecting piece has a torsional failure which renders the product entirely unusable. For a product made from 90%+ stainless steel I’m disappointed that the singular part responsible to transferring force was made with the weakest material. If this plastic connection piece was updated or changed I’m sure this would be a great product but until then you’re just wasting your money to open a can or two before it goes to the landfill.

So my trampoline's springs (about 5 of them) broke after having it for 7 years. I got these from Amazon as they had good reviews and look like they would work. I easily replaced the broken springs with the new ones. They have worked great so far and make the trampoline functional again. The spring size is a bit smaller than the original ones for my trampoline but they seem to be working well and holding up.

This replaces the Beneno Pink Handled one at more than twice the price which was unable to open cans after a few short months of light useage. So far so good. Our 4th can opener in two years for two seniors twho gives them only light useage is unacceptable. This unit seems well built. We'll see. But trusting something these days is very difficult .......

Buy this can opener. Quit buying all those normal looking 8-12$ can openers. They all break. I have had to purchase a new can opener every six months, it seems for the last few years. They all work fine for a couple dozen cans or so, ( my dog and I eat a couple cans of tuna each week ), then the shotty craftsmanship begins to rapidly cause decline in performance. It gets MUCH harder to open a can. I repeatedly had to start over 3-4 times just to get all the way around one lid, as the can openers would loose their bite into the cans. This thing is perfect. Easy grip. Very little pressure gets the job done quickly and easily. BUY THIS CAN OPENER FOR YOUR HOME.

Plastic parts in the middle of the mechanism that breaks fast. I HATE this Can opener. It is so difficult to use. I had to turn the can while my husband turned the handle on the opener. Basically making a one person job into a two person job. Very disappointing even for the cheap price. Shotty craftsmanship. (Good idea to give someone to piss them off if you are underhanded)
