Great for gaijin like me! NOT SO FAST!!!
Looking for an alternative to traditional Western pajamas -- try a yukata! Slept in one at many onsen in Japan and enjoyed. Now I have several of my own back home in Pennsylvania USA. Love it!UPDATE: I've used these (I purchased two of different patterns) for several weeks now. I love the fabric, the fit, and the comfort of a fully lined garment. However a huge issue with these is that they must be ironed if you want the yukata to look half-way decent. The crux of that issue is that with the combination of fabric and lining, ironing these is a chore best left to professionals with these yukatas! The iron must be hot, and you must use steam in order to get out the crinkly-look out of the dryer. In addition, the belt is even worse to iron than the yukata itself. The belt, while wearing it, simply turns into a thick, cotton rope -- not maintaining its flat appearance after you use it once. Tying it in a bow when security the yukata causes the lined fabric to bunch-up and tends to stay that way after a few days usage. Washing the belt simply makes matters worse. Trying to iron that thing is a fools venture -- I apparently can't get the iron hot enough to flatten it. [sigh!] Changing my rating to only two stars -- best features comfortable (but wrinkly) fabric, and the fit is perfect.

I'm 6'1" and 240 lbs.
It fits, but it's just closing up. I could have used a few more inches in the waist line. On the plus side, it's really high quality. I was expecting a thin cotton robe. This isn't that. There's a white cotton lining sewn in that will make this useful for three seasons. And I got a second shorter obi that I can use as a headband. Wax on. Wax off!

Ordered the biggest they had it's very small. I'm 5'10" 220
I lift weights and I'm larger than the "average" guy but not muscle bound, this thing barely fits. I only got it because I have a leather or "pleather" chair and I wear shorts all summer long. My legs sweat when sitting in this chair so I wanted a kimono similar to the one I had in Japan. This is similar and before I started lifting weights, maybe would fit better but they should make a larger size. Not a happy camper. NOTE: After washing, it got even tighter. If you're "normal" sized you should be ok with the large. I needed a 2x due to my shoulders and chest. Way small

Needs to be washed
Good fit, I’m 5’10 and a large fit me perfectly. My complaint is the fabric is stiff and scratchy, don’t know if they cut corners on the quality of the cloth or they used sizing/starch to stiffen it, but It needs to be washed to soften and make it comfortable. The problem is there are no laundering instructions so you have to guess. The only label gives the size and says “Made in China,” and I already knew that.
