Snapped right into my Surface Go, first generation. Worked perfectly out of the box. I tested the keyboard by typing "test my keyboard" and hit enter. It actually gave me a website that lets you test your keyboard! Each key I tapped, gave me a light up key on the display. Every key worked perfectly.So glad I ordered it. My other one is like 6 years old. The "A" key was starting to skip when I tapped it. I wasn't sure I needed to replace it. But once I pulled this new keyboard out of the packaging, I knew right away that it was a great choice.I type a lot. This keyboard was "used" as it had been previously bought and returned. Fine by me. Other keyboards of the same microsoft order cost at least twice as much. So, for 20 bucks, I got a NEW keyboard. No coffee stains, no cracks, no smudges of mystery taco sauce... in other words it looks new, types like new, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to find such a good deal!

worth your money!
About 3 months since I got it and use this with my Microsoft surface Go tablet and it works perfectly turning the tablet into a mini laptop. The material is a bit delicate and you need to be careful not to get it wet and the keys are a bit loud, for such a small keyboard, when you type but it's not disturbing. In the first weeks of use, some keys were not working perfectly but I don't know what happened it's all resolved now.....works perfectly. It has a backlit function to work in the dark and the pad has a good sensitivity. So far, I love it!

Made My Surface Go Infinitely More Useful
This product is excellent. Easy to attach, the keyboard is small and easy fit, yet keys are spaced evenly so one can easily use for official/study work.The built is strong, feel is great, touchpad works very well too. Of course it takes time to adapt for very fast typing and gaming but for usual work it is perfect.It has got two modes, it can be used flat or with a slight incline which makes it even better.It is very easy to carry around and I can turn my tablet to laptop anywhere I want.
