Get the right size, it will fit any human head.

Q: I measured my head w/ a tape measure & it read 23.75 inches. I ordered XL & it's little bit too large. Will the beanie shrink when washed & dried?

The beanie is good quality and will shrink very little with the correct laundering process. For best fit I would suggest you exchange this for the LARGE size… or wash in HOT water and dry in dryer and monitor it as it completely dries. Hope that helps..!

Q: Can I were shooting earmuff with this hat

It covers the ears, but is extremely soft and can be "rolled" or folded up. If it doest cut it for shooting its still a great hat
