Not only is the packaging (a cool tube that looks wooden) great, the maps are really cool. My husband and I have a son whom is almost 9. Our passion is traveling with him to different states like Colorado where he learned to snow ski, Arizona where we walked into Mexico, even Las Vegas Nevada. We travel to different countries and always plan adventures. I wanted a way for him to visualize the countries and appreciate his experiences domestic and international. These maps were perfect!! The marker to write memories after scratching off the places visited was an awesome touch and much better than the "pin the map style". I also liked the message from the seller with the adorable picture of his little boy. Thank you!

I got this as an Easter basket present for my tween and he has spent at least an hour scratching off places he has been. It has spurred his interest in travel and also remembering previous trips we have taken. I am tempted to get one for myself because I could scratch off many more countries than he can. Very fun gift.
