I've been using stoptech street performance pads for the last 4 years and I can say they are the best bang for the buck if you are looking for a performance brake pad. They are comparable to HAWK HPS and EDC Green pads, but at a way better price. The only downfall you'll really hear about these pads are the dusting and it's TRUE. They do create a bit of dust, but as long as you wash your car once a month nothing sticks to the wheels. Honestly who cares about dust, brakes are meant to stop you and have a strong predictable bite and these do that excellent.I'm giving it a 4 star bc of the dusting issue, but everything else is a 5 star imo.

I've been using these pads for years, and my only issue is they're dusty. like, "you will want to kill yourself because you're always cleaning your wheels" dusty. Not that big of an issue for folks with 5- or 6-spoke wheels, but I have Enkei NT03+m and its a real pain with all the spokes and crevices. Stopping power is great on the streets, but I wouldn't recommend them in a racing application. I have only had issues with fade once, this year (2016) when the summer was really unbearable and the heat soak in the pads gave me further stopping distances.UPDATE just purchased my 3rd rear set and these came with replacement hardware as well as the pads. Never had them come with hardware before, front or rear. Not sure if they are starting to include them in all boxes now.

Intended to use for autocross only but my S2000 was pressed into use for Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The StopTech SP brakes worked (front/rear) for three 5-lap sessions at an SCCA Track Night event. I didn't push the brakes tooooo hard but they never lost bite. Largest braking zone at COTA was 123 mph down to 40 with no issues. Able to sustain a basically stock AP1 S2000 to a best lap of 2:47 at COTA.

I use this on the rear axle of the s2000, with oem rotors.It's a slightly performance oriented street/race pad; great on the street and does well on the track, but will get chewed up on the track.Good and cheap

Hey I got these brakes after reading online about brakes that are pretty decent for the track and spirited driving. I don't know exactly how well you can use your rear, "emergency brake" when you're driving spiritedly lol. The only drawback is that they're super dusty. It's annoying how fast my back wheels dust up and I have to clean them. I have a 2008 civic si and they were a perfect fit.

I bought front and rear brakes for my wifes 06 civic. They work great and are as priced right. Make sure you burnish the brakes properly for the new pads and clean the current rotors, or you'll end up looking silly like E. Cham. I followed hawk brake pads burnishing instructions. The stoptech website is rubbish and doesnt come with burnishing instructions.

Great performance for the money, but I've never had brake dust this bad in my 15 years of tinkering with cars. It should be noted that the dust does come off easy and the brake pads do not squeal.
