I purchased these thinking that they are 24 oz. bowls but they are actually 20 oz. It states right on the packaging that they are 24 oz. and very little else, as other reviewers have stated there is absolutely nothing about whether they are dishwasher or microwave safe. Very disappointing for such an expensive purchase.

I like these soup mugs very much. They came unbroken, very well packaged in styrofoam. They do get hot when something hot is in them. I use them for tea and soup. I do not own a microwave, so I have not tested them in one. I normally wash all my dishes by hand as I am done using them,but tested these in the dishwasher for the review. They worked fine in the dishwasher no chips or cracks afterwards. I did place them on the top shelf though. I personally do not recommend washing ceramics in the dishwasher though if you want a long life for the object. I went to the website of the manufacturers and it clearly states that all their ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe. I have added a screen shot of that page in the photos. So far I love them and they were exactly what I wanted. Need to replace some bowls that got broken. Because these are hand made ceramics they are not going to be as strong as something mass produced. Ceramics are not really something you can just toss around. I am sure that these would break or chip if they were not handled with care. Overall I give them 5 stars and plan on buying more.

I've owned these bowls since February 2020 and am getting ready to throw them out.They are absolutely not microwave safe. I make instant oatmeal and soup often. I can make oatmeal in 90 seconds and have the exact consistently I want in a microwave safe bowl. 90 seconds in these bowls lights the handle on fire while making my oatmeal luke warm and runny.I am not sure if it's the dishwasher or the heating I have done in the microwave, but the bowls have tiny cracks everywhere, inside and out.I feel like these were a complete waste money.Too bad because I really like them otherwise. I wish I could find these exact same ones but with actual microwave and dishwasher safe construction.

One of the cups I received was damaged. I contacted the email in the box that assured me they would make any defects right, and I haven't heard back. The cups were incredibly dirty when they came in, obviously I was going to wash them, but it was a little off-putting, and there was a bunch of hair in them. The reason I wanted these is my espresso maker has a very low clearance and these were the right size. Honestly, they are a little difficult to hold, the cup handle is pretty small, and the cup itself is pretty heavy. Just not a great design.

These are so much more than i expected. I love soups. I love whipping them up in the pressure cooker and enjoying them in a mug or larger soup cup. However, My son is at the age where precious cups (20 years or older) are breaking non-stop. So i wanted to be able to put my favorites away and still enjoy soup in a big mug. I saw these and thought the color scheme was neat and decided it would work. The packaging of the cups and look is under estimated. Even by my pics and they are bigger than i thought. Microwave and dishwasher safe also. Huge plus when reheating leftover soup. So happy
