Santin Art - Modern Abstract Ready to Hang Stretched Canvas Oil Painting SAH17

So I read EVERYONES reviews and from the quotes I read, here were my concerns: lack of leaves, too tan and no fade to brown, sun behind tree, too dark (black) on the trunk coloring, looked like a 5 year old did it, poor packaging and too a month to arrive. After my purchase here is my experience/opinion: yes took a month, yes the trunk is a very, very dark brown and nearly black BUT all the other issues I was concerned about, per the other reviewers, were alleviated! BEAUTIFUL piece of art, tons of leaves with a periwinkle shade to the color (not light blue), sun was adjacent to tree as shown here, background DID fade to dark chocolate brown, thick paint coat clearly showing hand done (on at least the leaves) and the packaging was bubble wrapped with thick yellow paper covering - worked well for me. Overall, I can see where some variations may arise, but for me this was a GREAT purchase and I am looking for another one for a nearby placement in my home.

The framing was crooked, not to mention, it looked as if it was done on an assembly line...cheaply. The colors are not as depicted in the picture they are trying to sell you...BUYER BEWARE! My colors are browns, NOT blues! I have decided to keep the canvas and have had the framing fixed...it just wasn't worth the trouble to send it back and risk getting another just like it or worse. Sadly, I had taken the time to read all the reviews before buying this oil painting. Unfortunately I do not agree with any of them. Had this canvas come to me with the frame straight, and the main paints in blue, instead of brown, well I would be writing a different review entirely; however, it did not. I will not be purchasing anything else from Yihui Arts.

Love this painting. Had it for years and still looks great on the wall in the living room. Doesn't have as many branches and leaves as I expected.

I really love this painting. The colors and the swirling, circular motion are very calming. I did have to order it twice to get one that looks like the picture on Amazon. The first one that I ordered seemed a little dull and lifeless, but thankfully I had ordered it through Amazon Prime so returning it was easy. I took a chance and ordered it a second time and I'm really happy I did. The second one that I received pretty much looks exactly like the one on the product page. It's oil base and really does look like it's hand-made (which would explain why the first one I ordered was a little bit different). I'm very happy with the painting I have now and it is hanging directly above my desk. The center of the painting is a swirling, white circle and I find it very calming and meditative for my workspace. It's a very neutral and natural color palette that would go with lots of decorating styles. It comes as a canvas mounted onto a wooden frame. It also comes with two small metal brackets (and a few small screws) that can be screwed into the back of the frame for your particular mounting situation. The only tool you will need to attach the metal brackets is a screw driver. It is a lightweight frame and could be hung straight into sheetrock.

The painting itself is beautiful. Great quality and the price can't be beat for art like this. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it said it would come "ready to hang". It came with brackets to install on the back. Not a big deal, but I have it at work. I thank the handyman at our office for getting the painting on the wall. It's up and it's gorgeous!

Horrible amateur painting. I don't think it looks anything like the listing and could have gotten something at Wal Mart or Target for the same price that looks way better. This definitely looks like someone blotted on blue dots to a plain brown tree bark. It does not look like an artist painted it. It looks like something a beginning art student paints in art class. I read the bad reviews but was hoping it would still turn out better. I was quite disappointed with it and am definitely returning it. If you want a nice affordable painting, just go get one at Wal Mart. Don't order this one.

Looked for weeks to find a nice, large, quality canvas for above the headboard of our King bed...... but having just moved, I had a seriously limited budget. I searched for weeks and finally found this one. It not only met the size & color requirements, the subject matter is unique & serene, AND was 1/2 the cost of anything else I'd been looking at. Because of that, I was worried the quality wouldnt be great, but hoped it would be good enough for a room only my husband & I would see regularly. I was stunned when I unpacked the canvas. Thick, sturdy, high quality, and the mixed media technique is gorgeous.....NOT a flat print on canvas. Has texture and incredible detail. So SO happy with this purchase!

The piece looks great but in person looks like a child painted it. I like it that way but a little mis-leading. The packaging for shipping was poor. It came wrapped in thin foam and some packing tape. The frame was broken when I received it and now working on a suitable correction to the problem. Quick to respond to complaint but blamed it on the shippers and asked me if it looks OK hanging on the wall. Sounds to me like there will be no reparation but a quick brush off. Will have to wait and see.
